If you fancy feeling as if you’ve fallen into the pages of Gulliver’s Travels – or even Honey, I Shrunk the Kids – then this entertaining techie joke stool which I spotted in Dwell might be your thing.

It is, of course, a computer keyboard Escape key, scaled up to roughly a 40cm cube. You can sit on it – the indentation designed to fit a finger is just the right size for the average rear – but the jape is slightly lost if anyone uses it for the intended purpose. More a conversation piece, if not for a particularly long conversation.
